Fund Accounting● Responsible for the preparation of NAV reconciliations to administrator records, ensuring any breaks are investigated and accounted for in order to provide accurate fund valuations● Providing adequate back-up to support the valuations used in the NAV through an understanding of the underlying products traded by BlueBay● Calculation of management & performance fees and preparation of corresponding fee invoices● Providing support to the investment management team to facilitate the daily sign-off process● Review of Financial Statements, both internal and externalRegulatory Reporting● Coordination of the quarterly reporting process for AIFMD, CPO-PQR and CTA reports using Confluence System, FINRA and GABRIEL to ensure compliance with FCA, NFA and SEC regulations. ● Monitoring regulatory developments from Authorities to keep the team abreast of regulatory news● Researching and implementing change processes to enhance the efficiency of the regulatory reporting processes at BlueBay● Developing an understanding of the reporting data and all the business owners of the data in order to ensure timely delivery of Data when required● Assisting in updating and maintaining internal procedure documents and designing new ones where necessary.

As part of my degree, I spent 6 months on a work placement with Rothenberger. During my time with the company I spent time in Sales, Product Management, Strategic Purchasing, Production and Quality Management, whilst also assisting the Marketing team with their English marketing material. One of my key achievements during this work placement was the role I played in assisting the launch of a new product in time for the upcoming ISH 2015 trade fair, which is the world's leading trade fair in this industry. Working with a colleague in the ROKE office and a team of software developers based in the United States, I worked under a tight deadline to ensure the new product was ready for launch at the trade fair with the product ultimately becoming a centre-piece of the Rothenberger stand as part of a competition that was ran throughout the trade fair.Further areas of responsibility included:● Maintenance and development of SAP and CRM master data systems; creating an English version of CRM user manual to introduce and develop the understanding of the system for those working outside of the German offices● Conducting market analysis and benchmarking ● Processing and analysing current and future product requirements ● Implementation of price, value and cost analysis ● Market research and searching for suppliers ● Visiting current and potential dealers to preserve and improve customer relations
