Achievements: Advised Cabinet and relevant portfolio Ministers on large scale acquisition of 29 hectares of a tertiary education institute’s land in Mt Albert, Auckland, to a value of $134 million. Negotiated sale and purchase agreements on land acquisition investment valued at over $350 million and provided investment advice to Ministers and senior leaders to approve the transactions. Negotiated agreements to develop land to increase the supply of homes in supply constrained areas across the country, to provide for a mix of market, public and affordable housing with construction values totalling over $320 million and provided investment advice to Ministers and senior leaders to approve the transactions. Provided advice to adjust the high-level settings of Government land acquisition and development programmes to incorporate a wide range of tenures for delivery and improve outcomes. Coached new staff through the land acquisition and development process, as well as the ministerial services and parliamentary processes.
