I am an experienced and trusted ESG professional with over a decade of experience in the New Zealand public service, specialising in climate change, environmental, resource management, and housing market issues. I have developed an excellent understanding of New Zealand’s economy and machinery of government through leading and managing large policy projects, including enactment of legislation, regulations and land acquisition and development programmes.I have achieved my Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Victoria University, and my thesis focused on how sustainable urban design will feature in the redevelopment of Christchurch to reduce CO2 emissions from land transport. This allowed me to study an area of great interest to me and included analysis of urban theory, planning, and transport issues, in relation to the Christchurch rebuild.
