Lead the preparation of forecast proposals for the bi-annual pricing review of SMR Budgets for all current models, carrying out tasks as requested, helping to ensure that the forecasts are accurate and delivered on time.Lead the process for proposing and approving SMR forecasts for the new models launched onto the market, by loading new models onto the forecasting system, and contributing to data analysis used to construct the proposals, and the review and approval of proposals.Manage day-to-day relationships with manufacturers and data providers in respect of provision of technical data used for SMR forecasting.Support continuous improvement initiatives in respect of SMR forecasting, such as termination and in-life profitability reporting, and analysis of component burn rates and replacement cycles.Support the business in respect of any unusual or ad-hoc SMR budget requirements such as: bespoke SMR budget construction for customers with non-standard vehicles or non-standard use of vehicles.Support the business in respect of the creation of budgets for vehicles outside the scope of the sale and leaseback system.Support the business in respect of any requests for SMR budget and SMR spend analysis.Support verbal and written communication relating to SMR forecasting and pricing reviews, as required.Provide support on behalf of the Pricing department on project activities as required.To comply with regulatory and legislative requirements including TCF principles.To promote the fair treatment of customers in decisions and actions undertaken.

To manage new model data, supplied by external data supplier, ensuring that all relevant data is received and is accurate, whilst also ensuring that internal pricing is being set in a timely manner by other Lex Autolease teams such that LA systems reflect accurate data for the creation of quotations.To develop and nurture manufacturer relationships in order to maintain a good level of product knowledge that enables the provision of effective business support.To analyse and action accordingly business requests and queries relating to pricing elements of vehicle quotations within service level targets.To assess all referred quotations and model data queries, where the circumstances are defined in company policy, follow the policy to make changes to quotation fees, maintenance budgets, residual values, model data or other components of pricing.To assess all incoming pricing concession and frozen pricing requests, and where the nature of the concession is defined in company policy and is authorized according to company policy, apply the concession to the quotation system. To identify, and escalate as appropriate, instances where the business does not follow policy for referred quotations and concessions. To offer pro-active advice to colleagues to ensure that the sufficient information is provided to support requests and queries.To provide responses to queries and problems relating to pricing values, vehicle data, processes, and policies. Escalate issues to internal or external data sources as required.To escalate all referred quotations and concessions that appear outside of company policy, and complex queries and problems, to more senior members of the pricing risk team, for advice and/or resolution.To maintain records and audit trails of all actions taken regarding referred quotations, model data, concessions, queries and problems.To carry out ad-hoc reporting and administrative activities as required.
