Lead systems engineer for the SDA Tranche 2 Transport Layer (T2TL) Beta prime contract.Technical lead and owner of nano & small satellite programs from concept through operations.- Owning system budgets (mass, power, link, data, and deltaV), defining vehicle level architecture, completing trade studies, formulating bus & mission CONOPS, and managing risk & requirements throughout all mission phases.- Assembling, integrating, handling, and testing flight hardware and spacecraft in the clean room.- Interfacing with and between all subsystems (EPS, ADCS, FSW, structural, thermal, mechanical, propulsion, communication, and payload), decomposing & flowing requirements, and providing systems-level technical input.- Working directly with the customer, payload provider, and third-party module/subsystem suppliers. Preparing requests for information and proposal solicitations for third-party module/subsystem procurements. - Defining, writing, and executing subsystem and system level test & qualification procedures. This includes spacecraft functional, performance, thermal-vacuum, structural (random vibe, sine, quasi-static loading, and shock), and EMI/EMC tests at on and off-site testing facilities.- Preparing and presenting at weekly, monthly, and milestone programmatic and technical reviews both internally and with the customer (e.g., PMRs, IPTs, TIMs, SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, & ORR).- Travelling to, delivering, and performing flight stow and integration at the launch provider’s payload integration facility within the United States and internationally.- Working on-console during launch and early orbit operations (LEOP). This includes developing and executing bus & payload commissioning plans with spacecraft operators.- Owning propulsion and communication bus subsystem design, implementation, and procurement.

Certified operator for the BlackSky constellation of 4 Earth-imaging microsatellites Responsibilities include - Spacecraft event planning & scheduling, concept of operations development standard operating procedure (SOP) authorship, and real-time on-console commanding- Spacecraft subsystem subject matter expertise, trending, and analysis- Project management and ground autonomy requirement writing and verificationProjects include developing a suite of battery analysis tools & a predictive model for on-orbit tasking, post-propulsion maneuver momentum management, creating a SOP repository, and planning non-earth imaging campaigns.

Certified command controller for five NASA missions: QuikSAT, Aeronomy of Ice in the Mesosphere (AIM), Solar Radiation & Climate Experiment (SORCE), Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission (MMS), and Kepler Space Telescope. Also a certified operator for the Extreme Ultraviolet Variability Experiment (EVE) instrument aboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO).Responsibilities include spacecraft event planning & scheduling, spacecraft & instrument subsystem trending and analysis, and real-time on-console commanding. Subsystem focuses were command & data handling, telecommunication, and electrical power & distribution subsystem. Time commitment of 40 hours a week during the summer and 20 hours a week during school semesters.
