Quantitative Research Analyst
Current• Use the automated commercial system and software tools to perform analysis and resolve discrepancies for various financial reports such as the Debit Voucher and Budget Clearing Account reports• Research involved:• Collect pertinent information to settle debts• Maintain timely and accurate disposition of funds generated from the suspense account resulting in a credit issued to the appropriate accounts• Track violators and issued penalties resulting in a revenue collection to the United States• Prepare a detailed report based on research and forwarded to the National Financial Center for further action• Provide technical support, troubleshoot and analysis of complex technical problems involving conflicting or inconsistent computer data• Visit the premises of the importing community and observed operating conditions to ensure compliance regarding import related issues and recommended solutions• Provide a detailed report based on my analysis and forwarded to the compliance team for further action• Facilitate technical on-the-job training and assistance to team members• Manage the work performance and workload of team members according to staffing levels and recommend a redistribution of team assignments to ensure a high level of customer support and efficiency• Install network cards, network software, network printer drivers, reset network printers and copy user files to the LAN• Evaluate and resolve hardware and software problems on Intel-based personal computer system• Use various software diagnostic tools such as Norton Utilities, DOS, virus protection software and removing various virus• Coordinate installation of new computer equipment and upgrades• Deliver technical assistance to user personnel and assist users in installing and upgrading new versions of LAN software following Standard Operating Procedures
