Worked in data processing for the Provider segment of the PA State Medical Assistance contract. Duties included development of custom and batch processes for the import and export of sensitive medical information. All development was done in C on Sun servers running Solaris 9 and PL/SQL supporting an Oracle 9i database.Gained proficiency in formal design life-cycles and documentation procedures prompted by strict government and HIPAA regulations.

Worked as a developer on the company’s Forecaster product, an engineering tool for modeling fluid flow in industrial systems.
