I manage the Solution Consulting Team in support of Canon’s Digital Transformation products and services. In this role I am responsible for supporting Sales and Operations' identified opportunities, creating new products for development and sale, and continuous improvement of the pre-sales people, processes, and technology.

As a Solutions Engineer, my role is to directly engage with sales in business development by capturing new business from competitors, and expanding or renewing solutions and coverage with existing clients. For any business won, my role expands to include the contracting process, project management, and direct implementation of people, process and technology. Post-implementation, I remain engaged with clients to provide subject matter expertise, address new needs, and audit and improve on existing operations. Business Development involves assessing opportunities identified by sales for viability, performing client assessments on and offsite, engaging with potential clients through corporate capabilities and solution presentations, writing RFP/RFI responses, and writing statements of work.Implementation and project management. I am responsible for the success of the implementation up to the transition of services to operations. A sample of activities handled: development of project and solution collateral such as project and risk management plans, reports, job descriptions, and technical plans; coordination of responsibilities between sales, operations, HR, and implementation team members; lead communication with clients, and coordinate reporting from all other resources to clients; installation, setup, configuration and testing of technologies, including operating systems, imaging platforms, records systems, reporting infrastructure, and custom developed applications; writing, editing, and updating Standard Operational Procedures, training materials, and technical documentation; provide internal and external training sessions.On-going client engagement responsibilities involved providing guidance and expertise to clients through assessments and technical recommendations, evaluating opportunities for process improvement, developing solutions to address client and operational needs, and, validating existing CBPS solutions by conducting on-site audits.
