I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and provide individual adult psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and clinical consultation in the State of California. I am well versed in addressing a wide range of mental health symptoms, and specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and insomnia. I incorporate aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy in my work. As a therapist I take an empathetic, curious, and collaborative approach that helps build a foundation for autonomy, empowerment, and change. I teach mindfulness skills that have been proven to help improve mental health symptoms, highlight techniques to increase the awareness of our mental state, and rely on motivation, insight, and hope to help orient change. I primarily provide teletherapy sessions at this time, but can also meet patients in person at my Oakland office as needed.
