I am an undergraduate student at the University of Arizona majoring in Veterinary Science and minoring in general biology. I plan on pursuing a career in wildlife/ fisheries conservation management and potentially higher education in that field. I'm currently a summer intern for the US Fish and Wildlife Service through the Student Conservation Association and have assisted with waterfowl conservation management in the Prairie Pothole region east of the Missouri Coteau in South Dakota. I have prior experience with trapping juvenile salmonids and juvenile steelhead trout using rotary screw traps in the Willamette River (specifically the middle fork of the Willamette River, South and North Santiam River, and the McKenzie River).
