This role included structural engineering work such as roof analysis, canopy design, shop drawing reviews, concrete mix design reviews, and other work. The primary work done in this position was developing load combinations according to the ASCE 7 manual, using RISA 3D to model structures, perform calculations to ensure stability, and check fasteners. Other work included minimal foundation and slab design and site visits to analyse roof trusses and beams to ensure strength and stability. Along with calculations, this job required communication between members in office and people outside of the company to make sure jobs were completed correctly and smoothly.

Ensured the safety and entertainment of 40+ children while following a tight schedule of activities. While providing a fun and safe environment, I managed a team of up to 6 counselors to ensure that our jobs were being done properly.
