I have spent eight years now across five jobs working long hours varying from forty to eighty hours a week. I know how to work long days and I know how to help others work through them as well. I learn new positions quickly and I enjoy a job the more there is to learn about it. I enjoy learning and mastering new areas of expertise. I started as a theater and bathroom cleaner in 2014 and within a year I was managing the staff. When I started as a production buffer in 2016, I was at the bottom of the ladder again and within a year I was managing the very shift I had started on. I work hard and I enjoy a challenge, I pursue excellence and achievement.I am currently a mid-level software engineer and a graduate of the Step It Up Xpanxion (Java-SIUX) initiative to bring prior-active and reserve military members into the Information Technology field. I have over 950 hours of classroom instruction and I have been working in the Information Technology field for just shy of three years. I have cultivated and built a wide toolset of various technologies allowing me to work on both front and backend programming as well as to design and deploy full stack applications.In my most recent project, I completed an upgrade of a customer system that employed a range of languages consisting of Javascript, Typescript, RPG, JSON, YAML, SQL, and Node. In the process of upgrading the system to handle a Docker runtime environment with custom-tailored adjustments, I also was able to research and provide to my employers a faster and more efficient process for the upgrade process that both provided an increased ease-of-use and a cleaner ability to perform and maintain code management during the upgrade process.I have a combined six years of management experience between four jobs, and I am well versed in SAP and Open Office products alongside my programmer training. Further, I serve this country as a scout observer in the Georgia Army National Guard.
