Benjamin is a Registered Nurse currently working in the emergency department at a hospital in the twin cities. He began his career in nursing when he graduated from Anoka Ramsey Community College where he was recognized by the faculty for an outstanding display of leadership, clinical competency, and academic achievement. He then went on to obtain his Bachelors Degree from The College of Saint Scholastica and is currently looking into pursuing his MBA and VA-BC. He has worked in a variety of care settings, but found the fasted paced, chaotic ER environment to be his happy place. After a short 6 months of experience in the ER, he was promoted to permanent charge nurse of the unit at University of Minnesota Medical Center. Since leaving that position, he has travelled between Oregon and Minnesota to explore what other hospitals have to offer. Gaining experience at high level trauma centers, Ben was able to achieve expertise with ultrasound guided vascular access. With a passion for business and excellency in vascular access procedures, he was brought onto the team at Precision Access as COO. Throughout his years as a nurse, Ben has been seen to provide guidance and leadership on the unit, as well as excellent patient care which is evidenced by multiple Daisy Award nominations from previous patients and fellow staff members. When he isn’t saving lives in the ER or working to further the business, you can find Ben elbow deep in his gardens, tending to his saltwater reef aquarium, spending time with family, or playing frisbee with Winnie the Pooch.
