As Secretary: Recorded minutes of each meeting and officer meeting.As President: I did the following: Organized and ran meetings with the support of other officers. I had established the chapter guide, which is used by future officers to understand how to run the organization successfully. Created an Organic Reaction Map book, to assist organic students with their studies and serve as a spring fundraiser for the organization. Collaborated with other science organizations on campus such as the Tri-beta Biology Honor Society, and Shepherd Environmental Organization to host joint events. I hosted guest speakers for the community of Shepherd University. Facilitated the establishment of the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society on Shepherd University. Directed Science workshops for middle school and high school studentsAs a result of the activities, I was able to write the 2016-2017 ACS Chapter Report, which was awarded an Honorable Mention by the Committee on Education. I also wrote the 2017-2018 ACS Chapter Report, which was awarded Commendable by the Committee on Education, and a Green Chemistry Award from the ACS Green Chemistry Institute.As Treasure:Organized and digitized 20 years of financial background, and collected and organized dues of members.
