Acting on behalf of financial services firms, my main responsibilities include:• Advise clients on the risks involved with issuing proceedings and conducting enforcement to include advice in line with statutory and regulatory guidance (Consumer Credit Act 1974, Financial Conduct Authority and Hire Purchase Act 1964)• Assist in the development of our processes and testing new system implementations to streamline our day-to-day workflow• Train new starters and junior staff, to include overseeing their work• Monitor the receipt of payments made by our client's customers• Review of client’s processes and handing of the agreement to ensure compliance with the CCA and the FCA• Regular handling of confidential communications both orally and written, in compliance with GDPR and data protection laws• Recording and imputing data including calculating balances• Use of Visual Files and Laser Forms• Use of Microsoft office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint• Regular interactions with colleagues across all levels, including presenting findings to Partners• Written reports to clients to include monthly file updates and asset recovery• Management of own caseload from inception of the case to the final outcome• Daily use of case management system• Issue legal proceedings for the return of goods and money claims on behalf of financial services firms • Issue further proceedings to enforce county court judgments
