Transitioned from IT sales into a Camera Specialist role. This role was trialed in a handful of stores with the provision to be implemented throughout most major stores nationwide. In this role, I had the task of constantly staying updated with the ever changing improvement in cameras, lenses, services (software and hardware) and accessories. I was in charge of merchandising, stock and inventory management and the traning of other staff. In my time as a Specialist, the Camera Department for JB HIFI Chadstone had rose to the top of the ladder nationwide, not only within the company, but also competing amongst the other biggest specialty camera stores nationwide; We stocked brands such as Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, etc.
