About Benjamin Tessler
Over the course of my career in education, I have worked as a school counselor serving grades K-12 at two public charter schools withing the Somerset Academy charter umbrella. During my time as a school counselor I have consistently served on my schools' leadership teams, providing services not only as a counselor and threat assessment team leader, but in administrative support as well. Following my fifth year as a school counselor I was promoted to my current position of "Administrator/Dean of Students," serving as the lead administrator on my campus subordinate to our principal. During my time as an educator I have worked to establish strong relationships with my students, their families, our amazing staff, and community stakeholders. Further, I have implemented a strong character education program that supports our students in developing the social skills, emotional regulation skills and personal drive that is needed to grow into responsible young men and and women who are motivated to learn and grow.
