I received my PhD in chemistry from the University of Akron where I worked for five years as a graduate researcher specializing in synthesis and mechanistic investigation of inorganic back-bone polymers and small molecules. I am a native of West Michigan (Rockford) and graduated in 2009 with my B.S. in chemistry from Grand Valley State University. For the last several years I have been a member of the tesa team working as a product developer specializing in waterbased coatings and formulation in the area of PSA tapes. More recently I am excited to have been offered a temporary position as a process development engineer assisting our quality, process, and process development team to prepare for the launch and qualification of our brand new solvent-free extrusion coating line. I enjoy being challenged and I am always looking to learn new techniques/skills.
