-Develop and take projects through the full project cycle from concept design, proof of concept testing, prototyping, field testing and transferring to production, including all documentation for drawings, assembly, qualification, maintenance and troubleshooting. -Design of high pressure seals and housings, electronic and sensor packaging, material selection, threads, electrical junctions, FEA analysis, shock and vibration, motor selection and integration.Key Projects:• Pipe Conveyed Logging-Project manager in designing and developing a system allowing for power and communication transfer with wireline tools after deployment downhole on drill pipe.-Work with 3rd party companies to bring specialized 8 conductor high temp/pressure electrical wet connector to market• Formation Evaluation Tool-Project manager of a multidisciplinary and international group of engineers to develop the world’s smallest diameter formation sampling tool-Developed and integrated the sampling and fluid identification sections that made up a fully operational tool-Developed packaging and tested high pressure NACE certified valves-Root cause analysis and corrective actions in product development and field testing-Collaboration and handover of products to manufacturing-Fluid Identification Module characterization -Characterization and qualification of 3rd party developed sensors to analyze in-situ fluid density and viscosity using nuclear and vibrational sensing, including evaluation of proper electronic functionality and readouts• Board Qualification Tester-Circuit design, layout, packaging, integration and documentation of a DAQ system to test boards from manufacturers for functionality at elevated temperatures• Composite Wireline Cable-Feasibility analysis of a composite weight bearing electrical cable designed for downhole use.
