Hello! I am originally from the Chicago South Suburbs, but now have relocated to Los Angeles. My previous experience in television and broadcasting journalism led me to film and ultimately, The University of Southern California where I am currently a Film and Television Production BFA Candidate.I have worked on personal productions and short films, as well as larger school initiatives that have taught me great directorial and leadership skills. I have also utilized my broader skills in video content creation and post-production as a means of community service, helping local organizations and with documentary and promotional initiatives. Finally, my experiences in varying art studies and practices; including: music, choral singing, 2d art, photography and art history, have granted me a multi-faceted and unique approach to the film making process. I'm a creative and filmmaker seeking to expand my horizons and gain experience in all aspects of film production, specifically summer internships and other research and hands-on opportunities. Giving back to my community is my passion, and ultimately, I want to demonstrate the power of a story. I'm looking at film as a means of creating empathy, equity and connection.
