I am a dedicated professional with a foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Physics. My academic journey began with a double major at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, complemented by a concentration in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics, where I graduated in Spring 2022. I furthered my education by earning a master’s degree in Optical Science and Engineering, graduating in Fall 2024, also at Charlotte, focusing on anti-reflection technologies for high-energy laser applications. During my graduate studies, I worked with the research group led by Dr. Ishwar Aggarwal and Dr. Thomas Hutchens. My work resulted in multiple publications and the successful defense of my thesis, titled "Anti-Reflective Structured Surfaces on Optical Windows Through Tunable Metallic Etch Masking."In Summer 2024, I gained valuable industry experience at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, where I contributed to modeling and simulation efforts and supported the ultra-short pulsed laser (USPL) team in experimental testing.With a passion for innovation and problem-solving, I am eager to leverage my skills and knowledge to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in optics, lasers, and related technologies.I’m easygoing, enjoy having fun, and love to laugh, but I’m also committed to staying focused and meeting my goals. As a lifelong learner, I approach every experience with a critical eye, always seeking opportunities to grow. My curiosity and passion for knowledge drew me to engineering and physics, where I thrive on solving problems and exploring new concepts. This drive to learn has led me to develop a diverse range of hobbies and interests.
