I had the privilege of being part of a unique journey, which I believe was paramount to my professional development. I had the opportunity to liaise with unique and thought-provoking minds, which I believe inspired a passion within myself to develop personally, not only within my field of study, but also with regards to my interactions with like-minded peers and to enhance my general inquisitiveness. I was fortunate throughout to be a part of groups of people, whether it was as part of my tutoring or the committee I served, to deliver truly inspired work. I witnessed how hard work indeed gets rewarded; the result itself the most prevalent thereof. If nothing else, my passion for the written word grew ever stronger. I believe in many respects a proper education nurtures curiosity and provides the means and capabilities to turn that curiosity into innovation, idea generation and ever-expanding knowledge. I believe my educational journey provided me with the much-needed means to reach my aspirations. I confess my candidacy has been a grueling experience and quite the arduous journey. It did however, provide me with a valuable lesson: Even with the proper tools, palling may occur and the actual execution can go quite awry. On the other hand, it was quite a humbling experience and I believe it equipped me with skills I could not have otherwise have obtained. I witnessed that the potential for growth of a person, regardless of their credentials, remains astronomical.I believe that I have gained a keen understanding and insight into the South African Legal System. I remain to improving my insight and broaden my horizons within our ever-developing legal system.
