Train new technicians on how to troubleshoot the internal components of the machines like: the bill validator, touch screens, printers, system errors, e-prom chips, video cards, monitors, wiring, mother boards ect. Work on machines, which would include: bill validators not accepting currency, recalibrating touch screens, fixing printer jams, machine system errors, pulling and reseating e-prom chips, replacing video cards, replacing monitors, rewiring harnesses that are damaged, replacing light bulbs/ballasts, tracing problems from one part to the next (multiple parts running on the Netplex code, one bad part could be make an error register as a different part)Perform preventative maintenance on machines, such as, dusting internal parts like the mother board, all the fans, checking wiring for any frays, cleaning power supplies, wiping down the cabinet and cleaning the monitorsHandle the Player Tracking System at the slot machine level, pertaining to wiring up the banks to communicate with each other through a bank controller that is connected to back of house servers through Cat6 cabling, shoot machine information into the BEII board via a laptop, shoot coding into BEII, wire up Nexgen, BEII and card reader within the machine and make sure machine is communicating to server, shoot graphics down to floor from a desktop in Tech Shop
