I am a Rotational Graduate Engineer at UTAC, Millbrook Site, developing skills to become a Test Engineer.I graduated with First Class Honors from my MEng Automotive Engineering Course at Coventry University. Along with the "Course Tutors Prize", The Steve Poote Award from "Most Promising Professional Engineering Group Project" and " The Institution Best Student" from IMechE. During my time at university I have undertaken projects such as: Lateral Dynamics of a 3-wheeled vehicle, investigating Caster and Camber angles for a Shell Eco Marathon vehicle, looking into performance benefits whilst considering fuel saving conditions. Implementing Control Systems via Closed Loop PID controllers via Simulink to target areas such as Throttle management, Steering input and Yaw Rate analysis. Powertrain Lead in which I created a GT-Power model of a 1-cylinder 36cc Engine using high precision equipment to measure the engine and create an accurate model replication. To develop alternative solutions to improve the performance whilst minimalizing fuel usage with the Aim to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon competition. Altering the Compression ratio, Valve timing, Intake and Exhaust Geometry and Engine/ Air Temperatures. The model also allowed for testing to be done without the need to physical testing - reducing the amount of waste produced in the development stage of this project.
