This is my testimony. My whole life, I have sought God in my flesh and not from a broken spirit. In the snow, in the mud at 4 am one morning, I sought God to make me the man I needed to be for my family, and then the devil struck, and everything was taken from me. I was broken over and over, and somehow I found that Jesus remained even though I wasn't actively searching for Him.He was there when the emotions required to commit suicide were already 10× the amount needed; I was never once tempted to do so. He kept me strong, he preserved me. I wasn't able to talk to any friend or pastor in the full truth of what was going on, even though I wanted to and had opportunities to and almost tried to. I was silently threatened that I was going to lose everything that was important to me, and I was afraid to misstep in this devil's trap.In the midst of abandonment and secret pain indescribable, Jesus was undeniable, and my relationship with Him swelled. He led me where no one else could, and he spoke to my heart of truths and actions I needed to take. Now, almost a year later, Christ turned me into a warrior for my family in Christ, a brother to strangers, and a lover to the unloved. He pulled my family away from Laban into another land and has protected our family from death and destruction. Now, I have all that was mine returned to me and more.My heart has been reforged in Christ, and my path beside Him continues to create the man I have to be for my family, answering my prayer at 4 am in the snow and in the mud that one morning, 1000× fold what I could have ever imagined.
