Mechanical Engineering Project Manager:• I managed and oversaw the engineering for several multi-million-dollar capital projects. • One of these projects was the removal of 87,000 cubic yards of material from the side of a hill and the fabrication of an API 650 liquid storage tank for a total project budget of $2,700,00.00. This involved managing several outside contractors as well as internal teams all working on various aspects of the material removal, tank fabrication, liquid piping installation, and electrical hook ups. Despite several last-minute complications, it was the first of its kind at our factory to be completed on time. • Another project was a $1,500,000.00 machine upgrade. Despite various delays in the manufacturing chain caused by the COVID-19 virus, I was able to ensure that all necessary machine parts and accessories arrived on time. I was also able to schedule several various internal teams (mechanics, electricians, instrumentation, pipe fitters, etc.) such that they had enough time to complete their tasks while still giving ample time to the machine’s field service crews to complete a full field commissioning. Despite only having three weeks to remove four large machines, install 4 new machines, and then fully commission them, this project was completed on time and under budget.• I oversaw the factory’s R-stamp welding program ensuring that all welding/repairs/alterations made to pressure vessels within the factory adhered to all NBIC and ASME Section IX code.
