International Logistics Manager

Built up logistics team, setup the SOP and KPI for team members. Manage International Logistics, transportations ( air, ocean, truck) , warehouse, OTD performance, inventory control, cost savings, details as below:International Logistics:1) Manage the daily operation work of logistics team, including, import, export, Customs compliance, OTD performance, provide solutions to teams or customers.2) Trading or Customs compliance: Verify HS code of each material, ensure all HS code are correct and compliance, apply relative certificate in time to ensure shipment would be processed in a smooth way.3) Source and manage 3PL (freight forwarders, carriers, brokers), setup a KPI score-card to monitor their daily performance.Customs Compliance:Verify HS code for each material, apply necessary certificate for dangerous goods, chemical goods, and medical products, pre-classification for some complicated products, ensure all materials and products are compliance.Fix all challenges from Customs office.Warehouse Management:Analyze the materials and stock timely, arrange necessary replenishments. Responsible for safety, 5S, first in & out and conduct inventory cycle counting regulatory which meet accuracy target. Do physical cycle count to keep inventory accuracy as system track.Cost Control :1)Arrange Annual bidding, and negotiate the special discount from logistics 3pl suppliers on peak season, ensure the whole year cost is under the best control.2) Arrange consolidation for incoming ready materials to save logistics cost. 3) Check each shipment’s spending, ensure all shipments are cost are reasonable.Team Management:Arrange weekly meeting to review the project or KPI for whole team, ensure each team member could fulfill or exceed their KPI. Give guidance to team members if they have any trouble on their daily work.Coach and explain the new policy from government about logistics or trading compliance.

Manage the logistics team, including all logistics daily work: import, export, transportations, Customs Compliance, warehousing, international trading, Customs E-book,. Setup the budget of the logistics, develop and manage 3pl suppliers, monitor the cost of logistics.Customs Compliance/ Trade risk control: verify HS / HTS code for each material or product, check relative Certificate of Origin policy.Warehousing management: Separate all bonded materials area according to Customs E-book. Controls inventory strictly and minimize obsolete inventory at warehouse. Responsible for warehouse management, including safety, 5S, standard working material and finished goods first in & out and conduct inventory cycle counting regulatory which meet accuracy target. Performs physical cycle count to keep inventory accuracy as system track, especially the data for E-book. Cost ControlAnnual bidding for carriers, negotiate with carriers about some special shipments to obtain a best cost. Setup the Air role to reduce the air freight cost

Order Entry management, supplier management, arrange shipment for export, do consolidation, arrange the shipping plan to ensure the 98% OTD performance, make the daily report to ensure all data should be completely same with SAP data and 100% accuracy.
