This position is primarily responsible for Installing, performing routine service and preventativemaintenance on Point of Sales equipment. This position is also responsible for establishing andmaintaining good business relationships with customers and serving as a mentor and resource for FST-1s and FST-2s.Essential Duties:Perform service calls and installations of all GTECH equipment deployed in the field, whileassisting the FSS with the training and technical support issues of FST-1 and FST-2, in the field,classroom, and by email or phone. Follows all TSI procedures for field service and installations. Instruct and train FST-1s and FST-2s on the proper procedure for field service and installations. Utilizes at a master level all terminology pertaining to equipment, parts, and functionsencountered in the field service. Troubleshoots at an advanced level to diagnose and repair all equipment deployed in the field, and will assist the FSS by acting as a first point of contact for FST-1 and FST-2. Maintains TSI /GTECH equipment / inventory in good working condition, while assisting the FSS in controlling inventory levels at depots and warehouses. Operates and is a master user of all software used in field service, documentation, and communication devices used by TSI. Utilizes distinctive and refined customer service skills allowing them to handle difficult situations that arise with retailers and FST’s in the field, while also assisting FSS with training FST-1 and FST-2. Installs, Vsat, cellular, frame relays, and all lottery point of sale equipment and peripherals in the field within the allotted metric of time allowed per issue. Trains the FST-1 and FST-2 in the field or classroom on the installation of Vsat, cellular, frame relays, and all lottery point of sale equipment and peripherals. Submits all required paperwork by the deadlines.Acts independently in the field and accept the responsibility of leading special projects with minimal supervision.

In my position I am tasked with assisting my employer with running new lines; Ethernet, audio, coaxial, and electrical. Also installing new equipment; Cell phone repeaters, video intercom systems, IP phones, and patch panels.

 As a premises technician For AT&T I had to be varied in my skill sets. The main responsibilities of the position was the installation and repairing of downed services. To successfully perform my duties I had to have a knowledge base in telecommunications audio/video systems integration, and the ability to problem solve quickly. Continuous contact with customers in their homes and places of business meant I needed to have very high amount of customer service experience, and interpersonal skills

With my time at Sensory Technology I was able to pick up many useful High End audio/video skills. I learned how to integrate and maintain top of the line equipment and systems in an active office environment. I also was tasked with answering any questions customers had about the system we were installing for them, and had to be able to explain proper use and upkeep practices. The most noteworthy of our projects was the completion of an Immersive Collaboration Experience system for Rush University Medical Center.

While at bioMerieux I was placed in the QA/QC department as an office assistant/ data input specialist. Responsibilities of the position included; rewriting of old office policies, assisting permanent members of the staff with data collection and analysis, inputting pertinent batch record data, and filing all batch records appropriately. Requirements of the position include; High attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to articulate ones thought into correspondences higher ups, and being fluent in all Microsoft Office products .

For two more week I worked in the purchasing department of the Geneva site of FONA Intl. In this position I was covering to the lead purchaser in the sites raw material purchasing group. Responsibilities included; helping to calculate material shortage, order batches of raw material through various companies, keep track of shipments, and keep in constant contact with vendors to ensure all paperwork and shipments are correct and current. Requirements of the position include; High attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to articulate ones thought into correspondences to vendors and higher ups, and being fluent in all Microsoft Office products.

Still working for FONA Intl. in the production facilities. Working the overnight shift for production I was tasked with working for the powdered flavoring dept of plant. Responsibilities of the position included; locating and mixing precise chemical compounds in a warehouse environment. Requirements for the job included; ability to use a forklift, be able to use precise measuring equipment, and being able to package bulk amounts of powder flavoring efficiently while adhering to standard safety practices

Working for FONA Intl. I was tasked with working for the maintenance crew of the Geneva work site on the overnight shift. My responsibilities included; proper disposal of garbage from offices, Chemical refuse from laboratories, daily maintenance of bathrooms, and the cleaning and polishing of all hard flooring in the facilities.

During this time working for FONA Intl. I was place in the safety regulations department. As part of a 3 man team we were place in charge of updating and rewriting the FONA Intl. MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for the site in Geneva Illinois. Requirements for the task were; good investigative skills, an ability to work in a group, keen eye for detail, and the ability to use Microsoft excel.

In the two months with UCC I was placed with a group of 15 temps. Our goal was to update and convert existing import and export records from paper records to electronic records. Requirements for the position include; being able to focus on details, be able to focus on large amounts of data all at once, work with a team, and use Microsoft excel.

From April 2010 to June 2010, while working for CCC Information systems I was trained and placed in the technical support department for their Pathways product. Customers would call in if experiencing any problems with the program. If I could not guide them through a solution over the phone, I would then gain remote access to the customer’s computer and fix the issue personally. The required me to have high comprehensive skills, a keen troubleshooting process, developed customer service skills, an in depth knowledge of windows operating systems, and a high degree of patience.

From April of 2009 to November 2009 I was a logistics technician for the 108th Signal Company U.S. Army National Guard in Crestwood Illinois. Duties of my position included the locating and cataloging of obsolete, overdue, and misallocated equipment for the entire brigade. Extra duties of this position included: Transporting sensitive equipment, driving military vehicles, and armed guard for any sensitive equipment in transport.

From September of 2006 to September of 2008 I was a communications technician for Comcast Cable. Duties of my position included installation and maintenance of cable, internet, and phone systems for residential, and commercial customers throughout the Dekalb county area. The position is heavily centered not only on technical knowledge and skill, but also on customer service. Most service calls require a large amount of cognitive ability, and the ability to solve problems in a multitude of ways.
