I provide assistance in the software, simulation, analysis and interpretation of new medical detector technologies.

We are currently working on knowledge-based planning (KBP) in radiation therapy to improve patient outcomes and reduce normal tissue complications.

I am a medical physics researcher focusing on computed tomography. We have developed a protocol for a low-dose cardiac perfusion based using a wide volume scanner. I also have experience working with Silicon photon counting detectors (experiment and simulation), ultrasound imaging technology and large animal experiments (in-vivo and in-vitro).

I continued to improve results on my dissertation results, maintained code, assisted the next generation of graduate students on the Minerva experiment and assisted in the publication of Minerva results.

I worked on the Minerva Neutrino Scattering Experiment that measures neutrino interactions with varying materials. I wrote the main particle track reconstruction program for the experiment including two pattern recognition schemes along with implementing a Kalman filter for (track) parameter extraction. My dissertation involved calculating the two-track quasi-elastic neutrino cross section; this work included creation/optimization of simulation cuts to identify the signal, error analysis and event re-weighting.

I tutored high school and college students in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in the Orange County area.

I researched sources of gamma ray burst from various locations and worked on models to describe the energy profiles/spectrum of the bursts.

I was involved in inorganic semiconductor research. I was investigating applying polymers to semiconductor surfaces to create a selection barrier.
