The Hutchinson Regional Medical Center (HRMC) provides compassionate, high-quality healthcare to residents of Reno County, Kansas, and the surrounding area. The Hospital is an affiliate of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System, including Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson Regional Medical Foundation, Hospice & Home Care of Reno County, Health-E-Quip, and Horizons Mental Health Center. The HRHS President and Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the management, direction and coordination of all organizational operations and goals set by the Board of Directors.

The CHA Vice President, Rural Health and Hospitals provides leadership and direction in the development and execution of the Association’s rural strategies, advocates on behalf of rural hospitals and health systems and works to develop strategic partnerships with organizations that affect the health of rural Coloradans.

• Expanded primary care footprint by 18% through collaborative outreach efforts and implementation of mission-focused approach to medical provider recruitment.• Improved patient access to prescription medications through introduction of 340B program in partnership with five pharmacies.• Secured over $300,000 in grant funding and increased Obstetrics volume by 18% through development of "Pioneer Baby", a research-based partnership with area clinics, state government, and KU School of Medicine-Wichita.• Reduced necessity of local tax revenues by 58% through growth of sustainable service lines.• Designed and implemented healthcare delivery innovation team focused on improving patient outcomes and reducing unnecessary care utilization.• Awarded over $1.1 million in community service tax credits and grants from private, state and federal funders to examine local health delivery and make substantial improvements in population health, quality, cost, and access to care.
