- Coordination of entry to European Parliament and strategic counsel on political positioning and policy prioritisation- Strong focus on health, R&D and digital files (incl. Rare Diseases, Geoblocking, Horizon2020, Energy Efficiency Labelling and EMIS)- Follow-up of ITRE, ENVI and EMIS committees

- Responsibility for negotiating technical and shadow meetings- Coordination and liaison with industry, civil society and NGO representatives on EU legislation- Political communications (speech writing etc.)- Strong focus on industry, energy and healthcare files, including Energy Union, EFSI, Digital Single Market, ETS, Research & Innovation Policy, Trade Secrets and Horizon 2020 - Follow-up of ITRE, ENVI and EMIS committees

- Advice to Minister on political issues- Representation of Minister in Belgian Federal Parliament and brokering deals with MPs- Negotiations and liaison with other governmental cabinets- Focus on privacy, social equality and human rights issues, including files related to the Council of Europe and Justice Council. Particularly strong expertise in data retention, data protection, Binding Corporate Rules, and gender issues.

- Chief Advisor to the Minister and Ambassador for Council and COREPER, responsible for writing political interventions, press releases and briefings- Co-ordination of Belgian negotiating positions on EU files- Representation, networking and negotiating tasks vis-à-vis EU institutions, Member States and business and civil society representations - Spokesperson in Council Working Groups

- Chairing of intra EU co-ordination meetings with high-level EU and Member State officials during international conferences and bilateral negotiations with third countries - Brokering of compromises and developing common EU positions- Operational and policy support for the Belgian EU Presidency for Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)
