I manage the Electrical and Electronic team at Laverda in Breganze, Italy. This includes six onsite personnel, one contract personnel onsite, and two offsite contract companies. I am responsible for the interface between our Hesston, Marktoberdorf, and Canoas design facilities to ensure we are driving commonality and work together as one team. Respond as the interface to Product Management for Marketing’s requirements and market needs. I work directly with internal development teams from other sites and third parties to develop new technologies or improve current technologies. Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues.

Responsible for defining the future development of the track and articulated tractors built at the AGCO Jackson Operations. Works with customers, dealers, marketing, engineering, quality, service, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure that the equipment meets the needs of the customer. Works on product plans with engineering and marketing to develop equipment that brings in solid margins for the company and includes features that are marketable through VOC studies and by analyzing the competition.

Responsible for the cab and electrical group of AGCO Jackson Operations. This includes scheduling and planning with the whole goods managers and system chiefs. Works closely with the director of engineering, product managers, suppliers, purchasing, and marketing to support both current products and NPI projects. Also works closely with the service group, reliability group, and manufacturing to ensure that the best designs and practices are implemented to make the best equipment possible.

Jackson, Minnesota

Responsible for the electrical system of the Challenger and Application products. This includes cost reductions and reliability of current production machines and NPI Projects. Works closely with suppliers, purchasing, and marketing to support both current projects and NPI projects. Cost reduction projects are a very crucial key to the success of AGCO and participation is very necessary to keep market shares in the industry. Analyzes field data to validate both cost reductions and reliability improvements.

Woodridge, Illinois

Responsible for using Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cost, extend life, analyze best designs, and introduce new processes and fix broken processes. Worked as the reliability coordinator for the group. Works with suppliers and purchasing to support legacy ECMs and making decisions in order to support Caterpillar equipment into the future. Serves as the Focus team member for the group.

Woodridge, Illinois

Responsible for legacy ECM support. Worked with suppliers to address obsolete and last-time-buy issues. This entailed approving decisions on how to help Caterpillar support products for at least 25 years. Led design engineers into important decisions such as redesigns. Worked on reliability and durability issues. Participates and uses Six Sigma processes in teams and in legacy support and designs. Coordinated and maintained all computer related issues for the group.

Responsible for design and development of the electrical systems for Building Construction Products, Track Type Tractor Century Project, and MorElectric Initiative machine integration. Worked with suppliers and other Caterpillar business units to develop new and innovative ways of designing cutting edge electrical systems. Participates and uses Six Sigma processes in teams and in electrical system and component designs.

Dekalb, Illinois

Responsible for the entire electrical system on the Challenger agricultural tractor. Worked closely with manufacturing, buyers, suppliers, and cost teams to find the best components for cost and quality. Incorporated Caterpillar standards and worked with homologation groups to aid in the tractor passing European standards. Aided manufacturing with testing and troubleshooting of machines including end-of-line testing, component issues, and supplier issues.

Mossville, Illinois

Responsible for design and development of the electrical systems for Caterpillar Agricultural Products, Track Type Tractors, Building Construction Products, and the Compact Construction Equipment. Integrated relationships with suppliers and other Caterpillar business units to develop the best system for each application. Utilized liaison abilities with outside contracting groups to outsource the electrical schematics for each business unit.
