As someone who played hockey their entire life and through many accolades, I have learned many skills and knowledge that can be directly applied to the real world. Very passionate with a competitive drive for winning has allowed me to keep pushing myself to new heights and achievements. Hockey has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, perserverance, and how to handle myself in a professional and calm manner regardless of the situation.I excel in group setting processes with collaboration work, sharing ideas and equal division of tasks to effectively complete tasks. Moving from Kitchener to Ottawa to pursue education has allowed me to quickly develop my critical thinking and independent problem solving skills that helped me successfuly live on my own and balance a work-school-social lifestyle. Working in the sports industry would be a great opportunity for myself as I would be able to share my passion for the indusry, great work ethic, and a fresh perspective with a marketing background to ensure success within the organization. I am seeking for opportunities in the sports industry or marketing world after my post-secondary educations are complete.
