As the Golf Course Superintendent at Sky Meadow Country Club, nestled within a serene 291-acre gated HOA community in Nashua, NH, my role centered on maintenance and improvement of our 18-hole private golf course.A significant achievement was successfully restoring and caring for 3.5 acres of greens that were struggling, including poa/bentgrass push-up style greens, 1 USGA green, and 4 California-style greens. Our focus was to bring these greens back to their renowned firm and fast playing conditions through a meticulous cultivation program that improved drainage and agronomics.I oversaw maintenance of 20 acres of fairways and 3 acres of tees, significantly enhancing playability and overall health through a strategic cultivation program. Beyond the golf course, I supervised 1.5 acres of finely landscaped garden beds and lawns, charming settings for weddings and receptions.My tenure included planning and executing projects, such as coordinating phase one of a bunker renovation initiative and an in-house tree management program that transformed tree-lined holes into captivating fairways framed by fescue and native areas. We also developed fescue areas in-house to add unique character.Enhancements encompassed a comprehensive cart path relocation and renovation project. We implemented effective water management strategies to maintain firm, fast playing conditions, even during droughts. Upgrades to the irrigation system, structured equipment maintenance, and drainage system installation positively impacted overall playing conditions.I also managed snow removal for various properties. Throughout my tenure, my unwavering commitment to excellence and a passion for preserving an exceptional golf course in a tranquil setting were evident. Our dedicated team's collaborative efforts contributed to the club's reputation for providing a world-class golfing experience.

During my time as the First Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Dedham Country and Polo Club in Westwood, MA, I oversaw maintenance and enhancement of a prestigious 167-acre 18-hole private golf facility. This included managing various elements like greens, fairways, tees, and rough, as well as additional facilities such as clubhouse lawns, tennis courts, paddle ball courts, and winter sports areas.I efficiently supervised a team of 25 individuals, ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance tasks and improved the aging irrigation system for better course management. I also played a key role in enhancing drainage systems to improve problematic areas, contributing to better playability and aesthetics.
