As a construction professional, I pride myself on creating a plan to manage a project and being flexible in how that plan comes to fruition. Five years on the job, from intern until now, gave me five takeaways. One, my job is to constantly liaise with those around me. Two, details are everything in communication and project completion. Three, my involvement in the job is directly related to staying on deadline. Four, when plans change I must readily have the correct information to make that change. Five, learn something everyday. I take these lessons and apply them to the job on hand and as I do so I fulfill my role as an integral piece of the building team.
