Ben is an ENT surgeon with more than two decades of experience caring for patients and their families. He is currently a part of one of the top otolaryngology groups in the country, The ENT and Allergy Centers of Texas.He is a recent Professor of Surgery at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and has served as an invited speaker or surgical instructor across the United States and in eight countries around the globe. Ben recently completed 25 years of military service. During this time, he was chosen as the consultant to the Army surgeon general for otolaryngology and had the opportunity to serve in Afghanistan as the Chief of Clinical Operations within the NATO International Joint Command. He is a past Vice President and President of the Hawaii Society of Otolaryngology and an AAO Hawaii Governor for the Board of Governors.Ben trained in Otolaryngology-Head and neck surgery at the Walter Reed National Medical Center and in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the University of Iowa. He received his MD from the Uniformed University of the Health Sciences and his Bachelor of Sciences at the United States Military Academy of West Point.
