My role at Corcentric (rebranded from Ameriquest Business Services) was a multifaceted position that allowed me to familiarize myself with an Agile development cycle, and focus heavily on leveling up my skills in Front End development. I worked on everything from designing a careers landing page, to setting up custom REST API endpoints in a Wordpress theme, to writing custom SASS & Javascript for internal websites. I was responsible for the creation of internal employee website features, from idea to design, development, and even documentation. I collaborated with the internal marketing department on a regular basis, bringing these features to life. I have learned so much from this opportunity, and am humbled that it has provided a strong foundation of skills that I can depend on moving forward, and how much it has accelerated my learning process.My responsibilities included:• Managed UI design, development, and collaboration with co-workers on multiple successful feature launches for the internal company Wordpress website.• Gained valuable experience as a member of a team that utilizes an Agile development cycle with a focus on team collaboration tools such as JIRA, BitBucket, and GIT.• Focused heavily on writing semantic HTML, SCSS, and Object Oriented Javascript to elevate projects from paper prototype to polished product.• Simultaneously coordinated updates on various company managed websites alongside daily work.

• Developed web templates and designed / photographed assets for products to sell online using semantic markup that ranked highly in search engines.• Built meaningful relationships with customers while successfully employing sales strategies to generate revenue. • My work generated over $3,000 in extra revenue while providing my own salary for stock that was not currently poised to sell in person.
