Manage a team of supply category leaders, within Pentair's Electrical segment, in developing global strategies to drive high level of productivity within sourced cast, machined, stamped, fabricated, roll formed, and extruded metal products. Coordinate and collaborate with Global Supply teams and stakeholders in executing global strategy. Global spend for this category of products is in excess of $70 million.Support, coach, and guide team of supply category leaders as we:Define and drive sustainable year over year cost reduction efforts in excess of 5% while maintaining a project funnel with greater than 8% - 10% saving opportunities. Ensure savings and productivity goals are achieved and aligned with AOP and stretch objectives. Develop and implement supply base optimization effort including supplier consolidation/rationalization to ensure optimal number of suppliers across regions to serve Pentair business needs. Enable growth through high level of supply base responsiveness, flexibility and agility. Develop systems/processes to achieve100% on-time supplier deliveries partnering with purchasing organization. Develop a longer term, leading practice approach to manage key commodities: Define global supply landscape Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance Understand key cost drivers and develop mitigating strategies Partner with Engineering, Finance and Manufacturing, to develop and sustain a full project pipeline of total cost opportunities and incorporate value engineering events/lean/lead time and inventory reduction activities as part of this process. Coordinate strategies and activities with China, India, Europe, and Mexico regional operations. Negotiate and lead contract negotiations as well as monitor contract compliance and optimize contractual obligations.
