With a passion for human rights and social justice, I currently serve as a Co-Coordinator at Amnesty International USA and a Group Coordinator at Students Demand Action. In these roles, I leverage my communication and administration skills to organize and lead multiple student groups for causes such as gun violence prevention, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial justice. In the past two months, I have successfully coordinated several events, campaigns, and fundraisers to raise awareness and mobilize action for these issues.I am also a volunteer staff at Howard Brown Health, where I support the delivery of health care and support services to LGBTQ+ communities. This experience has taught me how to provide compassionate and inclusive care to marginalized populations. Additionally, I am a junior at DePaul College Prep, pursuing the IB Diploma Programme with a focus on neuroscience. I am passionate about learning and exploring the mysteries of the brain, and I aspire to attend the University of Chicago and the Pritzker School of Medicine, and to become a neuroscientist and a neurosurgeon.
