At NerdNode Ben is providing leadership and engineering skills to move IoT concepts and management techniques into the blockchain DePIN space with Node hosting as a Service with NerdNode and the DeEEP Network DePIN.

As the Head of US and President of Wirepas US Ben is responsible for growing Wirepas in the North and South American regions. This includes business development, sales leadership, product market fit, investor relations with American firms, collaboration with global sales and marketing for planning and executions of company strategy. Ben also drives new product stagey at Wirepas globally, working with customers, sales and engineering to build out product definition for the products and services that Wirepas provides in the market.Ben serves on the executive leadership team at Wirepas and helps to drive company vision and strategy with the other team members.

At the completion of the Rigado asset sale to u-blox, Ben came onboard at u-blox to assist in the transition of the technology and staff to insure a smooth acquisition and facilitate the knowledge transfer. • Integrated the BMD series modules and staff from the Rigado asset sale into u-blox.• Successfully transitioned all modules and assisted in building a plan to move manufacturing.• Transferred IP and know how about ways to cost reduce development and testing. As an example, we saw a 90% drop in RF test cost using the methods used at Rigado vs traditional u-blox. • Trained u-blox sales team on consumer sales and distribution sales model used for the BMD series of modules from Rigado.• Defined next generation NINA series modules to harmonize the product lines between the BMD and NINA series of wireless modules.

Ben provided contract engineering work for medical electronics for companies like Phillips Medical and other industrial electronics designs.

Project manager and product designer of the Garmin GDL 39 ADS-B Receiver that can connect to Garmin avionics and iPad/iPhone/Android devices. Avionics design for type certified aircraft including the GTN touch screen navigator. Ben lead the development of 7 of the 13 printed circuit boards of the GTN series. Member of the 8 person Product Innovation Board for developing and fostering new product ideas in the retrofit aviation market.

Worked on design and testing for outdoor GPS handheld receivers. Worked on the Garmin Colorado power supply chain and 'Roc-and-Roller' interface.

Developed software to work with computer aided orthopedic research. Researched the effect that computer aided orthopedic surgery has on patient recovery rates, pain scores and surgical time.
