About Ben Vineyard
When I was young, I would fall asleep to the hum of a macintosh classic, and ever since then I knew: I was going to use computers to change the world.I fully believe that the personal computer is the most significant invention of the 20th century. Not because of its ability to replace the television, the phone, or the library, but because it has the power to connect - to bridge the gap between language, culture, faith, or background. This instant access to things outside of our own little bubble, other people, other ways of thinking, is a resource that did not exist until now, all of it just waiting in a box on our desk.I became a programmer because I had found myself growing complacent with my own understanding of the world, and I saw the computer as my ride out of town. A tool to not only better myself though critical thinking and problem solving, but to help those who weren't yet there themselves; those who couldn't do what I can do.My strengths include: • Working independently and collaboratively in a team setting with minimum supervision.• Experience programming, testing, and creating features for multi-platform games• Analyzing bug and crash reports, fixing problems, and optimizing performance• Comfortable developing in Windows, Linux, and Mac environments
Listed skills include Software Development, C#, Unity, C++, and 28 others.
