My role as a Senior Consultant within the Financial Advisory space, focuses on the development of Tax Automation products within the Indirect Taxes realm. I am responsible for managing a team of both, on and offshore software developers to facilitate the production and enhancement of PwC-build Tax Automation solutions. I am required to work closely with other lines of services (LOS) which allows me to leverage off other existing solutions, enabling an efficient, cost effective solution to be achieved. As the product expert on these products, I am also responsible for marketing and the eventual selling of the products to prospective buyers. Our products are designed to process and interrogate both Payroll and Accounts Payable data to produce value-add Business Insights for our clients. I have a passion for working with data and finding strategic solutions from it. In this role, I deal with open-ended, broad brush problems and am tasked to come up with innovative solutions to these.

Placed within the PwC Employment Taxes team, my core knowledge areas lie within: Fringe Benefits Tax, Superannuation Guarantee, Workers Compensation and Payroll Tax. Particularly within the Workers Compensation space, I play a key role in the development of innovative technology used to assist (via automation) self-insured organisations in determining their liability in the event of a workplace injury. Also, I play a pivotal, hands-on role in the development of PwC's 'Comply First Time'​ software. Comply First time is a data processing and lodgement hub, designed to automate the Payroll Tax process (as well as assisting with Vendor/Contractor Management and Workers Compensation).

Bellis Australia is an Australian owned and run company, providing insulation materials on an industrial scale. My role is to ensure all client purchase orders are handled in a timely and accurate manner. This includes compiling all appropriate documentation, ordering required materials and conversing with vendors/suppliers on a daily basis. I also take part in CAD programming for CNC routers utilized to cut various insulation materials to specified shapes and sizes. In addition to this, I take part in human resources based work, including reference checks, interviews and offering contracts of employment, providing labour to many major LNG plants around Australia. I have acquired extensive knowledge about workplace safety standards in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 through my work re-developing the company's safety systems.

I successfully managed staff during shifts and worked closely with Area and Bar Supervisors, utilizing and developing my leadership skills. I worked autonomously as well as part of a team, ensuring all tasks were completed at the highest standard. My general tasks consisting of; assuming a supervisory role when required, bar and register work and dealing with customer complaints to ensure the workplace ran seamlessly.

Worked as a Production Operator at Wagner’s Cement, an industrial cement plant, where I dealt with physically demanding obstacles and problem-solved situations successfully. I occasionally supervised a team of labourers and undertook daily operational tasks, which required high levels of team management and problem-solving skills in order to meet daily and weekly deadlines. Throughout my time working at Wagners Cement I operated weigh-bridge machinery, collaborated with site personnel, worked within a team as well as autonomously and was introduced to the take 5 system.
