Hello. My name is Ben Diefenthaler and I’m a sophomore at Indiana University. I am from Peoria, Illinois and am currently pursuing a degree from the Kelley School of Business in Operations Management & Business Analytics. I became interested in pursuing this degree because I’ve been interested in using data all my life. One of my best traits that I have is being able to overcome different situations I am put into. One example of me using my problem-solving abilities is the variety of challenges I faced at the golf course I was working. These challenges varied from struggling with maintainance issues to dealing with unhappy customers. I was able to use these skills and learn working at the golf course. Future employers can rely on my problem-solving skills to accomplish any tasks. I plan on coming back to this job after my freshman year of college. Another trait I have is my ability to work well in a team and adapt to any role needed. One example of this was my business presentation group I was in for my freshman year of college. Throughout the semester, I had to change my role in the group a variety of times based on what the group needed me for. This ranged from presenter, researcher, group leader, etc. Companies can depend on my teamwork skills to be any position in a group. Interests: Golf l Sports l Skiing l Gym l
