- Assists with management of tournament data, including player registration, tournament updates, chip counts, results and statistics.- Assists with management of online images, player profiles, event result pages and other web content using WSOP.com’s content management system- Acts as a liaison between the WSOP and the ESPN production crew, assisting with research and providing tournament info and data when needed.- Supervises media center and assist with media requests/needs- Escorts members of the media through the tournament area.- Assists with the WSOP’s social media initiatives on Facebook and Twitter.- Monitors media activity on-site and online to ensure the adherence of WSOP media guidelines.- Assists with facilitating interviews with poker pros and sports and entertainment celebrities .- Assists with needs in other areas including, but not limited to television production, sponsor relations, VIP Hospitality and internet marketing.

During my senior year of college, I have begun to take on professional projects outside of the classroom environment. This is helping me to further my skills as well as build up experience working for clients with deadlines and requirements instead of just doing something to get a grade.

During my time the Veterans United (VU), I was part of a four-person intern team. For two weeks, we underwent orientation by shadowing an employee from each of several teams including Production, Development, Business Intelligence, and Marketing. We learned the ins-and-outs or software development related to each of those teams. After those two weeks, we were assigned individual projects for the company. My focus was on Help Desk projects. I worked on an alert console for the Help Desk main page.
