If you are always following a crowd you’ll never find who you are as a person. Having a strong moral compass has always been one of my best qualities. Whether it is doing the right thing when no one is watching or going against the popular opinion because I do not agree with it, I always stay true to my values. During the summers I have worked in landscaping both as a manager and as a laborer. This unique opportunity has given me valuable insights on what it is like to work with and on a team. My management experience is in connecting with third parties to deliver supplies to each job site along with directing the employees on what they need to be doing to finish the task most efficiently. While working as a laborer I was a detailer and finisher on each of the projects, so I would go over everyone's work and made sure it held true to the company’s standards.Manual labor has taught me many important lessons in my life, from the true value of a dollar and how to keep the team motivated even when it is hot and humid in the middle of a long work day. I had the chance to develop my leadership, management, and communication skills further everyday on the job.
