Ben Elbaz, is a Managing Director and is currently the Global Head of Product Management for Aladdin. In this capacity, Ben is responsible for Aladdin's commercial product offering (~$1.5B revenue) for all client segments (incl. Asset Managers, Insurance, Pension Funds, Banks, Asset servicers, GPs) and all capabilities across Public and Private Markets (incl. front-office analytics, portfolio management, trading, compliance, middle & back office, accounting, reporting), with a goal of maintaining and evolving the product offering to sustain 10-15% annual revenue growth. Ben started at BlackRock early 2016 as a founding member of BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth team which encompasses all of BlackRock's fintech solutions delivered to wealth management firms and financial advisors globally; includes Aladdin Wealth SaaS offering, BLK digital distribution properties and the FutureAdvisor digital/robo advice platform. More specifically, Ben led the development of BlackRock’s US digital wealth distribution platform (50K+ annual users; $10B+ annual “model portfolio” sales), played an instrumental role in transforming US Wealth Advisory business’ operating model (400+ sales team focused on US FAs) through client segmentation, sales resource reallocation and sales process optimization. Ben also restructured the FutureAdvisor robo advice platform and participated into designing, formalizing and implementing the partnership with Envesnet (4.9% stake).

Ben was a Managing Director at JPMorganChase and the CFO/COO and Head of Strategy of Chase’s wealth management businesses. He was instrumental in the development of Chase Private Clients; during his tenure, the business grew over 15%+ per annum to ~$3 Billion annual revenue (~$300B client assets, ~3M clients), and over ~8,000 employees, including 3,000 financial advisors. - Led division’s Strategy, Regional Field CFOs/COOs, Advisor compensation, Real Estate and Finance organization (including Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Accounting, Reporting, MIS). - Significant involvement and oversight of all critical Product, Technology, Operations, Branch roll-out and Risk management decisions.- Led series of key changes, including: design & roll-out of investment offering in ~2,500 Chase branches, client service model, advisor incentive plan and other sales & productivity initiatives- Key point of contact for regulatory agencies (e.g., Fed, OCC)- Member of Chase Wealth Management Operating Committee and Board member of the Chase Insurance Agency

Ben led JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Finance team, where he advised the firm Operating Committee and the Chief Investment Office (CIO) management team on all key Corporate Finance and Balance Sheet decisions, including capital allocation/deployment across a $2T balance sheet, CIO investment portfolio allocation decisions ($400B+ portfolio), firm funding, stress testing, as well as on key acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Ben played a critical role in developing JPM’s initial capital stress testing framework (CCAR), conducting the “London Whale” investigation, streamlining JPM’s firmwide financial management processes and also building the firm’s capital and liquidity management capabilities under the new regulatory environment (e.g.., Basel III, Dodd-Frank). Ben was a member of the firm's Asset & Liability Management committee and Capital committee.
