While taking a pre-law class on public presentation in Spring 2011, was chosen to TA the new class for Spring 2012. As a team with professor and other TA, began planning the course “Persuasion” in terms of description, objectives, and reading assignments. During the course, met with students to improve public presentation skills, led presentation groups.

During summer breaks from Kalamazoo College, assisted Mr. Andersen in preparing bankruptcy cases for filing and for meetings of creditors. Learned how to use Bankruptcy 2011 software and the Electronic Case Filing System. Researched public records at various area courthouses to prepare for cases.

Assisted the paralegal with intake using a database adapted from Lotus Notes and did background research on cases for various staff attorneys.
