As a data scientist at FutureLearn I have a few roles: analysing and modelling of (principally) user data to improve the product and business position; work on improving the data pipeline infrastructure (ETL here); and to advocate for and teach toward the better use of data-driven, quantitative methodologies of design.

This included the design of domain specific semantic web ontologies and resulted in peer reviewed publications. Appointment was 50% here and 50% at Southhampton.
