Responsible for the planning and coordination of the Troop's administrative, logistical, and maintenance operations which ensure the Troop's combat readiness. Supervises the supply sergeant, armorer, NBC NCO, and communications chief in order to ensure compliance to current regulations an policies. Responsible for resourcing all logistical requirements for combat operations and construction of patrol bases/COPs. Manages the Troop's budget for all classes of supply. Responsible for the health, welfare, morale, and training of the Troop headquarters section. Supervises all additional duties, assists in developing and mentoring platoon leaders, and command the Troop in the absence of the Commander.

Responsible for the health, welfare, physical fitness, training and discipline of all members of the platoon in garrison and in combat. Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of six tactical vehicles, their respective combat systems, and all related weapons, night vision devices, and communications equipment valued in excess of $6 million. Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of individual and team level training programs that ensure a high state of readiness. Responsible for the planning, leading, and execution of the platoon's training missions.
