Field service Engineer for a provider of industrial steam system solutions.A versatile Multi-role engineer working on Gas, steam and electrical components. A role requiring Commercial gas certification for Gas safe registration, Compliance with BS 7671;2018 18th edition wiring regulations and mechanical experience as well as that of motors, pumps, mechanical installations via P&ID diagrams , PLC controllers, HMI use and water treatment and testing.The role is a high profile face to face position representing the company as the front line operative, utilising engineering experience to assess and assist the customers needs. Supervising and producing daily, in order to maintain and promote operational effectiveness, airworthiness, a continual improvement culture and safe working environment of all staff working under my remit, carrying out training in line with the organisations strategic training policies.Security cleared with good technical knowledge and experience in a wide range of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Environmental, Gas, Oil and relevant health & safety legislations and continuous improvement techniques.Duties & Responsibilities:• Tested and operated all mechanical systems including Installed Gas Turbines, Fuel, Hydraulic and Electrical Power Generation systems.• In depth knowledge and practical experience replacing engineering components and subsequent testing of Engines, Flying Controls, Gaseous, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Environmental, Fuel, Oil and Mechanical systems.• Supervise all aspects of fault rectification and preventative maintenance in order to maintain operational effectiveness and airworthiness.• Provide on-the-job training for all staff, imparting subject matter knowledge and expertise onto junior and inexperienced staff and fault reporting to senior management.• Ensure all maintenance practices, engineering standards and government legislations (COSHH, H&S and Risk Assessments) are adhered to on a day-to-day basis.• Maintain operational effectiveness by managing resources, allocating out and delegating the priority of complex maintenance activities to ensure the speedy rectification of all faults.• Diagnose complex faults from aircrew debriefs, producing fault defect reports and raising the necessary limitations paperwork and subsequent maintenance work orders in order to plan and manage daily tasking’s effectively.
