I am the Director of Customer Service and Operations Support. My organization - Support Services - is part of UTSA's Office of Information Technology Department. OIT Support Services serves as the core group that makes up our OITConnect branded service – your one place for all your technology requests. Through OITConnect, we provide technical support for all students, faculty and staff within the UTSA community. My organization is made up of a traditional help desk of telephone support technicians and desktop support technicians. We are also comprised of a special technical liaison team – our Academic Support group - that provides dedicated technical support to the specific Colleges and Schools of Learning on campus. And finally, we have a specialized team called Managed Solutions that manages all computer software configurations, software licensing, and works on initiatives to improve the end-user experience at the desktop. Each one of my team members exhibits a servant's heart toward their work and we continuously work to provide a customer-centric approach to providing IT related services.
